Ms. Lippi Parida Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? My mother was a good artist&looking at her draw&paint--I was inspired to draw and paint too! Have you studied arts or obtained formal training in it? Yes, I have learned the Odissi style of painting---PATACHITRA--from a national awardee---but I stopped painting patachitras because there's nothing original about them! Describe your art style.   Ms. Gaurisha Singh Who and what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? My passion and desire to paint. The urge to pick brushes up and paint something aesthetically pleasing, representing different forms of art and culture is what inspires me to paint just each and every time. Have you studied arts or obtained formal training in it? Even though I'd love to, the answer to this would be unfortunately no. I never had the time to go for formal training, years over years I kept practicing on my own to achieve perfection. Describe your art style I love using oil and acrylic paints on canvas and making freehand objects or figures, mainly defined as modern art. The strokes with a blend of colors give a beautiful outlook to it. For how many years have you practiced your art, and have you had to overcome any hurdles on the way? I have been practicing for 3 years and I still am because I believe practice makes a man perfect.

Princess Lubna Ahmed Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? I have always been an art enthusiast since my school days. I was an expert in drawing diagrams in my science projects, excelling in biology, plants & animals so much so that my friends requested me to draw for them as well. I also had an eye for art and whenever I visited an exhibition abroad I was immensely drawn to the classic paintings of the Masters in Art, and later I was to learn that it was one of a well known, famous painting. Dr. Nithya Sridharan Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? I am a practicing Medical Oncologist, and I go through the stress of seeing people suffer every day due to the wrath of cancer. I took up the practice of art at a near stress breakpoint, just to make sure that I sail through without getting affected too much. It started with an acrylic knife painting workshop and ever since it has progressed from a stress buster to a hobby to another career for me. Ms. Ritu Bhatnagar  Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? My mother has been my inspiration, my motivator, and my teacher. It was she who recognized the artist in me and encouraged and facilitated my journey in the world of arts. Sumita:  As a child, my mother saw the potential in me and introduced me to an eminent artist, Nayantara Nathani. I learned all forms of painting from her for more than six years. Her work inspired me and made me more and more interested in becoming a student of art. Rajesh:  I have for long been an appreciator of arts.
