Ms. Vimala Nandakumar

Vimala has an experience of more than five decades teaching mathematics. She has headed international schools in Mumbai and Jakarta, Indonesia. She has authored a book “ What Ails Our Schools?” Painting, cooking, singing, and traveling ( all over India and to more than 30 countries )are her hobbies. At present, she is the chairperson of  her own NGO -Shaktii Girl’s Education Trust  which is an after- school program for girls of the underprivileged society.



Jesus Christ

He was an epitome of love and peace. Lived among people and as an example for generations to come of that supreme love can make this world a better place.




Lord Ram and Hanumanji

This Tanjore painting depicts one of the Nava rasas,  Shantha-Peace, or Tranquility.
It is only one occasion when  Lord Rama embraced  Hanumanji or anyone at all other than Sita Mata, appreciating him for the yeomen service that he rendered to Him.
Otherwise, Hanumanji always considered his fortune to be at the lotus feet of Him.

Ms. Lippi Parida Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? My mother was a good artist&looking at her draw&paint--I was inspired to draw and paint too! Ms. Ritu Bhatnagar  Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts? My mother has been my inspiration, my motivator, and my teacher. It was she who recognized the artist in me and encouraged and facilitated my journey in the world of arts. And now my son and my husband are also a source of constant encouragement.  Have you studied arts or obtained formal training in it? I have been a Science student with a deep inclination towards Arts. I did not take any formal training in this field. So I can say that I am a self-taught artist.
